Sometimes I struggle with my compulsion to make music when the world seems to be producing new threats almost daily. Particularly contemplative music, which can sometimes lend itself to escapism. But what making this music brings me, more than anything else, are moments of solace. My hope is that it will bring the listener the same.

“Reanimation” contains four pieces that coalesced in early 2022. It was performed and produced by Tom Schmidlin using modular and non-modular synthesizers, guitars, loops, and effects.
